Journal the Journey

In every season of life, through the mountains and valleys, God has always been faithful… and He always will be.

(Intro) Purpose.

I almost forgot to “muse” tonight, but thankfully that wonderful husband of mine reminded me.

I’ve had a lot in my mind and on my heart lately, but I struggle with which thoughts to try to share in just 15 minutes. I honestly knew this would be hard, this faithfully blogging each day, but I thought the time restriction would make it a little easier. It definitely makes blogging more doable, and today marks 7 days in a row that I have blogged (a record for me).

I sat here in the living room listening to the rain falling and tried sorting through my thoughts. I asked God to show me what to write about. I see so much goodness in my Bible in just these two chapters that are written on the pages it is turned to currently and I desire so badly to help someone, anyone, to fall in love with (or deeper in love with) God through my writings concerning scripture and my personal walk with Christ. It just seems an impossible feat in such a short time, yet I know with God all things are possible and I should just continue to be faithful and bold in sharing my thoughts with you.

My laptop is in the car so I am typing on my tablet, which I am not nearly as speedy as typing on. My time is already half up for the night, but I do know what I want to talk about for the remainder of it and probably in tomorrow’s post as well. It’s a topic so very popular in our culture, both in Christian and secular circles. It’s something that undoubtedly leaves each of us unsettled at some point in our lives, and we strive to seek out the answer often in the wrong places or the wrong people or even in things.

You may have figured it out by now… Well, my title up there being a dead giveaway. The topic is purpose. Have you ever thought, “What is my purpose?” Dumb question, as I feel quite certain we all wonder or have wondered this. So let me follow up that question with a better one: Have you found the answer to this question?

Why are you here? What are you living for? What’s the meaning of this life, what are you meant to accomplish?
